If there’s one piece of advice I would offer about choosing Cape Town Motorcycle Rentals for your tour plans for South Africa, it would be – “Don’t hesitate, Do it!” My son and I rented two bikes for 10 days during February 2024. Conrad, the owner, was quick to respond to our initial enquiry, provided several bike options, offered invaluable advice on our planned itinerary and the best places to visit, stay and avoid, and was always available (a few shared travel whatsapps from us in our case, but good to know he was contactable and ready to respond in case of challenges). The bikes (GS1200 and Africa Twin) were impeccably turned out, and faultless throughout our 2000km trip. This was a bit of a bucket list trip for me (now in my mid-60’s) to do with my son, and I can honestly say Conrad really helped make it all I hoped it would be. As I said, “Don’t hesitate, Do it!”

Conrad and CTMR were accommodating and easy going from the off. Conrad showed genuine interest and passion for our trip (10 days, 2000km) and offered some great suggestions and route planning help. The bikes were fantastic (I rode an 1100 Africa Twin), more than comfortable and capable to handle the route we did (including some off road and more ‘scrambly’ trails. Would happily rent from CTMR again and would recommend!
